A very rare item described by Prof. Boris Paszkiewicz as a "hybrid halerza imitation".
Combining the obverse of the Wroclaw halerza (the head of St. John, but without inscriptions), with the reverse with an eagle with a headband (instead of a lion).
As the professor points out, it is "an illegal issue, probably from the Olawa or New March areas."
Nicely preserved silvering luster.
