Very rare medal from the time of Stanislaw Leszczynski.
Circulating state of preservation. Trace of a pendant.
Medal by C. Vermuth (signed on obverse and reverse), depicting the kings of Poland and Sweden (Charles XII), probably minted in connection with the negotiations of the treaty with Sweden. As Edward Hr. Raczynski recalls, "The first effort of the new monarch was to conclude a treaty with Sweden and to resume the relations of friendship that the Oliva Treaty had reserved between the two countries."
An item sporadically found in the trade. One of the few pieces known to Raczynski was in the royal collection in Dresden.
Silver, diameter 32 mm, weight 21.19 g.
