A very nice piece of rare shellac from the time of Frederick of Saxony. Lovely luster on the obverse.
Variant with a larger shield at the top of the obverse. In addition, the letter M cut like the letter N.
Obverse: on a long cross the shield of the Grand Master under the shield of arms. In the rim: MAGI-STER-FRID-IKVS [shield].
Reverse: monastic shield on a long cross. In the rim: MONE-TA DN-ORVM-PRVS.
