Here is the last crown thaler of Ladislaus IV.
A very rare vintage, struck at the Cracow mint, then managed by Gerhard Pyrami (initials G-P on the sides of the shield).
First time in our offer. Only four listings in the Onebid archive (three of them before 2001). The last two at auction in Poland were 2016 (Niemczyk 10, sold for PLN 62,100) and 2021 (PDA 18, sold for PLN 77,880).
Shallow, rather sloppy minting is characteristic of this vintage. A scratch in front of the portrait, traces of natural circulation. Attractive for this vintage of Ladislaus' thalers, closing the buckle of his minting focused on a coarse coinage.
Silver, diameter 42 mm, weight 28.0 g.
