A very rare numismatic coin of the time of Wladyslaw Lokietek.
A distinctive denarius with a representation of a helmet, dated 1320-1333.
Variety with an obverse inscription on both sides.
Obverse: helmet with a plume of five feathers, in the rim: [+ N ◦ REGIS].
Reverse: eagle facing left, with outspread wings, in the obverse: [POLONIE].
Silver, diameter 12.3 mm, weight 0.24 g.
Spectrometer result: Ag 74.65; Cu 24.17; Pb 0.98; Au 0.20.
