Attached to the medal is a certificate that such a medal was awarded, but with a gold rank.
The present medal looks bronze at first glance, but at the same time it also bears traces of former cleaning. Looking at its border one can clearly see the yellow-gold color scheme. Probably, the obverse and reverse have "browned" under the influence of cleaning with some chemical agent. Apart from the shining of the relief and altered coloring with no other flaws or other damage.
