A beautifully preserved 17th century nuptial medal. Issued to commemorate the wedding of King Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki to Eleonora Maria on February 27, 1670.
Medals for the occasion were made by the outstanding medalists of their era, Jan Buchheim of Breslau and Jan Höhn of Gdansk. The present one is an unsigned version. This one looking by style is Höhn's work.
A very rare numismatic piece in this condition.

Obverse: royal bust in laurel wreath and robe, facing right. In the rim:

Reverse: bust of Eleonora to the left, with her hair braided with a pearl diadem and adorned with a laurel wreath. In the rim:
