Lot description
Grade: VF
Reference: F.u.S. 3768

The medal was made using the casting technique. The workmanship is old, and the technique is characteristic of the early period of Polish medal making.

Many medals, especially private medals, in this period were made using this technique. We don't know if this type had its own version beaten with stamps. The only notation we have been able to reach also depicted a cast piece (Cahn 20 of 1907).

Breslau medal commemorating the imperial secretary - Nikolai Haunold.

A very rare numismatic piece.

Silver, diameter 21 x 18 mm, weight 3.80 g.
