Marching compass made of white metal, in the characteristic horseshoe shape, opened with a snap. On the lid is stamped the national eagle placed between the letters "W.P." (Polish Army), and below it the maker's signature: "Z. Jeznacki / Warsaw / wz. K.M.32 / No. 12164".
This type of compass was the basic equipment of the Polish Army soldier during the Second Republic. Robustness of manufacture, precision and reliability made it widely used until the outbreak of World War II.
