Lot description

Extremely interesting set with a low numbered Cross of Valor (no.415) and two Orders of Virtuti Militari.

Order of the VM cl.V - a pre-war duplicate produced by Wiktor Gontarczyk, made in silver.

Order of the VM cl.IV with a card from the Office of the Chapter of the Military Order "Virtuti Militari". - Made later, most likely 1980s-90s.

Attached to the set is a biography of Kazimierz Mieczyslaw Jozefowicz and confirmation of the provenance of the decoration by Kazimierz Szmidt, for whom the above mentioned was an uncle.
