A coin attributed to the issue of the General Government, introduced into circulation back in the time of the Second Republic. As described by J. Chalupski: Just before the start of World War II, the President of the Republic signed a decree introducing steel coins with denominations of 20 and 50 pennies into circulation. This was only a formal confirmation of the preparations underway for a possible war....
