Obverse: sphere of the world, and on it a two-headed Imperial eagle with the letters L.I on its chest. Around the sphere with the image of Vienna the inscription: SUB UMBRA ALARU TUARU (under the shadow of your wings). At the top the sun with the inscription between the rays: SOLLIGIT AUXILLI RADIOS (gathers rays of help). At the bottom, a crescent moon in the clouds with the inscription VICTAM & REDEGIT IN UMBRA (after defeat was darkened). In the rim: IMPERY MURUM AUSTIACO INTERPONIT IN OBRE (The wall of imperial rule covered the Austrian world).
Reverse: multi-line inscription.
