Portrait by the daughter of Wladyslaw Bartynowski - Bronislawa Uhma.

Pencil on cardboard, dimensions: 26 x 36 cm.

Zagórski Ignacy (1789-1854). Author of a monumental work in the history of Polish numismatic literature - one of the first catalogs of Polish coins, published in 1845: "Coins of Old Poland". Professionally, he was a treasury official and head of the Estate Section of the Warsaw-Vienna Railway. Privately in possession of a considerable collection of small coins and a library in Warsaw and later in Piotrków. Zagorski's collection later went to Leon Mikock.
