Bust cast in non-magnetic metal.
On the back the name and signature of the artist.
Bust brought in the 1980s by a delegation from the USSR and handed over to the local PZPR Committee as part of the "consolidation of cooperation between brotherly nations".
A memento of a bygone era.
The figure of Felix Dzerzhinsky is infamous in the history of nations repressed and annexed by Soviet Russia. After the October Revolution it was Dzerzhinsky who was responsible for the formation of the Bolshevik security services, including the secret police "Cheka" (the infamous "Chekists"), but at the same time it is clear that the cult of the individual in his person was still alive even as late as the 1980s.
Very good state of preservation, no comments.
