Lt. Col. cav. Antoni Witkowski - Participant of World War I in the 6th Volhynian Lancer Regiment of the Russian army until 1917. Since 1919 in the Polish army, participant in the 1920 war, officer of the 3rd Lancer Regiment in 1919, 4th Lancer Regiment in 1920-1921, in the GISZ in 1928-1930, in the 23rd Lancer Regiment in 1932-1937, from 1937. - lieutenant colonel, chief of staff of the Borderland Cavalry Brigade in Brody, knight of the Order of Virtuti Militari, decorated with the Cross of Valor 3 times. Probably murdered in Katyn.
