A photograph capturing, among others, Eustazy Borkowski, the legendary captain of great sailing, commanding Polish transatlantic ships in the interwar period. Captain Borkowski is a colorful character, shrouded in legends perpetuated by Karol Borchardt in his book "The Sea Shaman", of which he is the title character.
