This is the last Toruń shilling issued by this ruler, minted in the year of his death. It was a turbulent period for the city, as on February 15, 1763, under the terms of a peace treaty, Prussian troops entered the city and did not leave until July.
A variant featuring stars on either side of the city’s coat of arms.
