One of the rarest varieties of Sigismund Augustus’s two-denar coins.
A two-denar coin from 1567, but featuring the Pogoń motif typical of the 1569–1570 issues. It is distinguished by the horse’s tail pointing downward.
This is the first time it has appeared in our collection, despite the fact that we have featured many two-denar coins from this year.
