For a John Casimir trojak, a rare denomination of his time, this is a distinguished piece.
A very nice, mint-fresh surface. Especially on the obverse, which bears no sheet defects, which is rare for this issue. The reverse is double-beaten, but with a natural luster retained.
Trojaks in the time of the last of the Vasa dynasty were a denomination minted only in a few, single vintages. The Cracow mint did it once, just in 1662, and it is the type with a bust of the king in a robe, without a border on the obverse.
A variety with rosettes on the sides of the Ślepowron coat of arms and REGN in the reverse legend.
The bust of the king without the brooch fastening the coat.
