Coin with old fire gilding and pendant marks. Pleasing in presentation.
The year 1630 is one of the more interesting vintages of thaler minting in Bydgoszcz, in which there are several changes in the representation of the king. It describes four main types. The present one is a broad, majestic portrait, particularly distinguished by its large, ornate armor epaulet. It was introduced in this year and was practically extinguished in it (only single pieces from 1631 are known).
Variety without errors in the legends. With the notation SVE (instead of SV) on the reverse.
Ex. PDA 9/423.
Silver, diameter 42.5 mm, weight 28.33 g.
