The paper bears a text watermark from the D&C BLAUW printing house.
According to a study by R. Jadrych (Numizmatyk Krakowski 5-6), there were two watermarks on each sheet of paper used to print the eight Insurrection banknotes. One was a full watermark (a coat of arms with an inscription) and the other was a small one (consisting solely of an inscription). This specimen is an example of the latter.
