A mint strike of the only 20-grosz coin from the Second Polish Republic.
This denomination was minted on a large scale at three foreign mints: in Switzerland, Utrecht, and Vienna. The Ministry’s selection of experienced, technologically advanced facilities meant that today, despite the multi-million mintage of these coins, mint errors account for less than one per mille of the pieces struck. They are now rare and highly prized by collectors.
This is the result of the blank being positioned off-center under the dies, causing the coin to have a striking offset of approximately 15 degrees.
