Here is a Krakow grosz not listed in Grzegorz Romańczyk’s catalog.
It is a rare issue, struck in the year of King Sigismund I the Old’s death (April 1), featuring a crown not described in the aforementioned study.
It is distinguished by two additional buds on stems extending to the right from the second and third fleurons of the crown. The author describes two groszy from this issue with stems (variants 10 and 11), both of which he assigns the highest rarity grade, R*, though they differ in their layout.
Very nice condition, especially on the obverse. A slight flaw to the left of the crown. The background retains its natural luster.
