A beautifully preserved coin. With a natural, mint luster. Well struck.
This is an early issue of the Toruń ort, which remained in circulation for a long time and was minted before a several-year hiatus in issuance due to the war with Sweden.
This issue is known for several variations of the royal portrait. This specimen features a rare, broad bust of the monarch. In our auction history, it has appeared only 3 times out of 31 orts from this issue. This specimen is the most beautiful of them all.
