Proofs are the only surviving witnesses of the complex process of banknote creation. These are most often very rare, individual qualities documenting the successive stages of production. Allowing you to get a close look at the graphics of the individual layers or see details invisible on the final banknote. Included in the collection today, they give the collection a unique spirit of the era.
Here is an attempt to print a few of the final color-separated layers of the obverse. Here made in a uniform black color scheme, on a scale of 1:1, on ash with a format similar to the final one.
A print of good quality, sharp in detail, made on thin, shiny (a'la chalky) paper.
Dimensions: 180 x 102 mm. Print in 1:1 scale.
