A rare variant of the first-issue jeneral bill , but with the series designation typical of the second-issue General.
Made in the final stage of the 1-mark issue, where, preserving the continuity of the General 's numbering, the remaining sheets of the jeneral issue in stock but without series designation and numbering were used (Michal Bishop: "Banknotes My Passion," Notebook II).
The number here is from the final numbering sequence of the General. Preceded by the B series placed in the upper right corner of the reverse, rather than the A series placed centrally, at the bottom, as is typical for a jeneral.
The fact that this is a generalist print with only the "general" series designation is also evident from the reverse itself, where the top reads BILET OF THE NATIONAL POLISH LENDING CASH, and not as on the general ... POLISH NATIONAL ... .
A very nicely preserved piece in PMG 55 grading.
