To quote Jerzy Koziczynski: "... 25 and 50 zlotys (R8) and 100 zlotys (R9) are extremely rare and generally unobtainable." (Lucow Collection, Volume I).
The present piece is precisely the rare 50 zloty denomination.
B series number 306, where B is the constant assigned to the 50 zloty denomination (100 zloty had A series, 10 zloty had D series).
Very nice state of preservation, with issue folded in half (stamped with half of the stamp), but no other folds in the field. Only tears and minor losses on the lower edge - the result of an asymmetrical fold and protruding beyond the second part of the bill.
A historically interesting item.
