Tyszkiewicz's textbook, published in 1890, was such a good item that it became a reference and basic for those of its time and remains so for us, even though more than 130 years have passed since its publication.
The era also quickly lived up to its plagiarism and an edition based on it, and in fact being virtually a reprint of it. The 1901 Russian-language edition is just such an item.
