Rare publication issued by Karol Beyer in 1857 as a"complement to the work of Edward Count Raczynski".
Complete text part - notebooks I-III (only such were issued) in a common bookbinding. They cover supplements from the era of Sigismund I the Old to John II Casimir. Continuous numbering, items from 1 to 124, total 95 pages.
According to Bibliography ... by M. Gumowski, 21 plates were issued for these notebooks. These are not included in the set, but the presence of mock-ups of further plates, unknown to Gumowski, is an evident fact. In total there are seven of them with numbers XXII - XXV and XXX - XXXII, which capture items 85-99 and 115-124. The boards made by hand from cut and paste photos of individual items. Photos of very good quality, annotated with their numbers and plate numbers in pencil.
Block size 25,8 x 20 cm. Entire interior in very good condition and contemporary stylized bookbinding. Binding matched to the set of the Cabinet of Medals.... offered under an earlier item.
Great rarity.
