The last vintage shellac in the history of Elblag, in a beautiful state of preservation for it.
An MS-type note is almost unheard of for these fine coins, minted in coinage, low proof silver. This is confirmed by the censuses of leading grading companies, in which only 2 coins received an MS note, and this is the MS62. The other pieces sent either received notes below 60 or, due to the oxidation-prone metal, did not receive numerical notes at all.
A more beautiful piece than a piece from the advanced collection of Saxon city sherds sold by us at the Royal Castle.
The type with the initials I.C.S., struck before Schröder left the mint. Before his place was taken by Frederick Ludwig Stieber.
