A brakteat of the Duchy of Cracow with a mysterious mint mark, stirring up discussions among numismatists for years. Kazimierz Stronczynski saw a "crooked saber" here, Marian Gumowski saw "a kind of saber stuck in the heart," and Szwagrzyk saw a crossbow. However, as Witold Garbaczewski points out, "perhaps, however, this is a symbolic representation of a princely territory guarded by a ready to defend and brave ruler."
Representation: standing figure of a knight wearing a helmet, facing left, holding a flag. In front of her the mint mark, behind her two rings and stars each.
