The oldest type of Curly denarii.
A distinctive issue with the depiction of one of the most important relics of Europe at the time - the head of Saint Adalbert (in a square reliquary). According to Professor Suchodolski, the choice of this patron was a manifestation that it was the saint himself who sanctioned the seizure of power.
Variety with the saint's name written clockwise (with A-DALBERIVS S- error) and the prince's name reversed (BOLEZLAVV +).
Nice state of preservation. Coin in old patina. Sucking of metal on the obverse (on the frame of the reliquary).
