Rare vintage two-dollar coin of the first ruler of the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia - Gotard of the Kettler family.
The principality formed after the secularization of a part of the Teutonic Order, which became a fief of the Kingdom of Poland, a sign of which is the iconography of this coin. The obverse bears the monogram of Stefan Batory (SR - Stephanus Rex), and the issue itself is modeled on the two-denarii of the time of Sigismund II Augustus
