A rare denarius with the name of Saint Wenceslas / Adalbert attributed to Henry the Pious. Minted at either the Wroclaw or Glogow mint.
It is an example of a brakteat denarius: without the other side of the coin, with a characteristically lower disc weight. Noticeably rarer for this type than bilateral mints.
Representation: a prince on a throne, with a cross in his raised hand, to the right, next to a flag, in the rim an inscription: [SCS VENCEZLAVS].
