A rare denarius bearing the name of Saint Wenceslas / Adalbert, whose attribution has changed over the years.
One of the first publications talking about this coin was a 19th century work by Stronczynski, seeing it as an issue of the Dukes of Greater Poland. Stanislaw Suchodolski was of a different opinion, followed by Kopicki, who attributed the coin to the 13th century bishop of Cracow, Iwo Odrowąż. Currently, in the context of Professor Paszkiewicz's research, it is considered to be a coin of Prince Henry the Pious from the Wroclaw or Glogow mint.
