Beautiful mint orth. With a natural mint luster and a slight patina.
Also worth noting, very well, evenly stamped.
This is a coin minted before the occupation of the city by the Swedes, which took place in December of that year. During the occupation, the Torun mint did not press orts with the portrait of King John. These did not return until 1659.
An early type for this vintage of orts: with the initials HI-L on the sides of the shield and the king's bust narrower (also known from the 1654 vintage).
A rare numismatic coin in this condition.
