Very nice art. Natural, well stamped, in the patina of an old collection.
This is a coin struck before the occupation of the city by the Swedes, which took place in December of that year. During the occupation, the Torun mint did not press orts with King John's portrait. These did not return until 1659.
An early type for this vintage of orts: with the initials HI-L on the sides of the shield and the king's bust narrower (also known from the 1654 vintage).
