Lot description
Grade: NGC AU58
Certificate: NGC 6639198-035
Reference: Szatalin (-), Kopicki 1695, Tyszkiewicz 1.50 mk

A very nice preserved orth from an undescribed variety in the Shatalin catalog.

Very rare reverse (5b, with a characteristic crack of the stamp on the crown), referred to in this catalog as grade R5. Obverse with titulature ending in P&S and portrait of the king narrowly.

Lots of natural mint luster. Beautiful reverse.

The first vintage of John Casimir's orts minted according to the new minting ordinance from sterling silver of 14 lows (16 lows - pure bullion).

Incorrect mint attribution on the slab.
