The lowest denomination of coins of the Kingdom of Poland. A brief episode, during which coins with denominations from 1 to 20 fenig were struck in two vintages (1917-1918). A period described by Marcin Zmudzin as the ugly duckling of Polish minting in the 20th century, due to the simplicity of the designs and the non-precious bullion used in their issuance.
