Delightful with a deep medal mirror worthy of modern day mirror machines and a beautiful relief, the design of which was done by one of the famous Polish painters - Juliusz Kossak.
Minted at the expense of Cracow antiquarian Mieczyslaw Kurnatowski.
Commemorating the historical and literary convention named after Jan Kochanowski, which took place in Cracow in 1884, and an account of it was published in the form of a diary in the"Archive for the History of Literature and Education in Poland".
Obverse: in a wreath started with a lute crossed with a parchment with a feather bust to the right. Below him signature (NAKŁ. M. KURNATOWSKI) and dates 1530+1584. on his sides JAN - KOCHANOWSKI. Above it a radial star.
Reverse: laurel and oak wreath, surmounted by a ribbon, surrounding the inscription:
