Very attractive for this vintage Nike issue. Gently rubbed in the background, but with a beautiful luster and very good detail.
This is the first of three rare vintage Warsaw Nikes.
On the rim, the inscription "SALUS REIPUBLICAE SUPREMA LEX" -"the good of the Republic is the highest law" - characteristic of five-dollar coins with the goddess of victory. The inscription refers to the May Coup of 1926, which in subsequent years also adorned the Senate meeting room.
