A rare medal minted in memory of Maria Amalia Mniszech (wife of the crown court marshal) of the House of Brühl, after her death on April 30, 1772. A woman of merit, as evidenced by the motto on one side of the medal, "NON MORITUR NAM FAMA EIVS IN AEVVM FLOREBIT" - do not die, for her fame will blossom forever.
The medal, as well as the figure more extensively described in the Cabinet of Polish Medals.
Poorly preserved sound. Slight doubling of the beat.
