Here is a vintage minted in the second lowest mintage of all SAP gold coins.
In 1783, a top-down decision is made to change the bust of Stanislaw Augustus on coins. It applies to all portrait coins of this king, with the exception of copper triplets. In the case of gold coins, it occurs after 17 years of minting one type of portrait.
The new bust is placed in only three mintages (1783-1785), with a total mintage of ~246,000 pieces, where the mintage of 1784 accounts for less than 5% of it (10,500 pieces).
A natural, uncirculated piece, with a nice surface luster preserved.
