The rarest vintage of the third type of thalers of King Stanislaw Augustus.
The last of three vintages of this type of royal portrait (without the ribbon in the hair), appearing on this denomination only in 1783-1785. Minted in a noticeably lower mintage than the other two vintages (~4 thousand, where the two earlier ones were 12-15 thousand).
This is also confirmed by our archives, where we have had thalers from 1783-1784 offered 8 and 3 times, respectively. We have this vintage for only the second time in our entire history, where the first one sold at auction in 2021 was with a clear engraving.
Here is a coin with a beautiful natural presence. With the puckering justness, but at the same time preserved mint luster.
