One of the oldest rubles of Russia.

It is the first, very rare type of rubles of Peter I. Introduced as part of his monetary reform, which unified the monetary system in the country. Having just established the ruble as the basic monetary unit.

This type, characterized by a youthful portrait of the tsar, was minted for only two years (1704-1705).

A variety with the date written correctly, a closed crown over the eagles and the mint mark (Kadashevskiy Monetnyy Dvor) in the form II - I.

A striking, wide coin in naturally circulated state of preservation.

Very rarely seen.

Silver, diameter 44 mm, weight 28.9 g.
