Lot description
Grade: XF-VF
Reference: Bitkin 195

A very rare ruble.

While this type, with a bust in armor and the denomination in the rim of the reverse, is encountered in commerce regularly, it is definitely not in this variety.

It's a ruble without the medallion's initials (KO, OK or L). Clearly rarer than those with a signature, as evidenced by the Coinarchives world database, where for every 13 rubles without letters, there are over 400 with initials!

Very nice for this type of ruble. The coin is natural, with luster, good relief, in the patina of an old collection.

On the rim the inscription РУВЛЕВИКЬ МАНЕТНАГО....

Silver, diameter 41 mm, weight 28,8 g.
