First vintage of Vilnius half-tracks, the rarest of the mints producing this denomination during the time of Sigismund III.
A beautiful piece. Especially in terms of the quality of the embossing - even, centering, without imperfections common to these coins. With preserved mint surface luster.
This denomination in Lithuania appears only five years after the start of its production in the Crown and its issuance lasts a very short time. In the entire history of the Vilnius mint, half-tracks are minted, or rather, stamped on a rolling mill, for only two years (1619-1620).
The present piece is an early type - with the Wadwicz coat of arms at the end of the obverse inscription.
In addition, being a rare variety with the reverse legend in the notation MAGNI D L.
