A coin with a natural mint surface with a mirror background. Also distinguished by very good minting quality for a penny of this issue.
Appreciated with the highest NGC note, the only one with a "+" at the grade.
In 1608, following the example of the Kraków mint, Vilnius changes the iconography of the penny. The royal portrait is henceforth replaced by an Eagle with the Vasa family coat of arms on the chest.
A variation with the obverse legend ending in DV.L and a trilobed at the top of the reverse.
