One of the most beautiful early Cracow triplets we have had on offer.
Deeply, centrally embossed piece, with a mint mirror background.
An issue from the first period of the Cracow mint during the reign of Sigismund III Vasa.
In 1600, the Krakow mint is opened as the last of the crown mints, and is the only one of them not affected by the closure order of 1601. It then becomes, for a long time, the main mint of the Republic.
It begins its issuance with trojaks. She uses a rolling mill to make them, from under which all her coins come out until 1606. The present piece is their second type, introduced in that year. With the bust of the king facing right, and the mint's designation, the letter K, dividing the date in half.
