Lot description
Grade: XF-
Reference: Kopicki 8990 (R2), Paszkiewicz T3

Nice, only slightly bent. With a glossy finish.

The third type of the Order's minting, with an important depiction of a gate, which still recurs in subsequent years.

A rare issue described by Vossberg, Waschinski and Gumowski, among others, as a product of the mint in Torun.

A motif taken from coins from Hamburg, being, according to K. Burb, a representation of the Heavenly Jerusalem, a reference to the Crusade idea.

Variety: gate with cross in crenellation, with cross in semicircular clearance.

Silver, diameter 17 mm, weight 0.33 g.
